Stay Healthy AppHere we were tasked to work in teams of two to work together and create a prototype of an innovative app in the health industry. My partner and I went for the idea to incorporate many areas of health in one convenient place, like fitness, nutrition, pregnancy, diabetes and more. I designed and created all the pages on Adobe Photoshop, and used MarvelApp to make it interactive.

Timesless: An AutobiographyIn this project we were given the task to create an autobiography about ourselves in the even of our deaths, and something that we supposedly invent or create in the future would be the cause. In this case, my creation was a time travel machine, and without complete calculations, it killed everyone who used it. First it killed my brother, and in order to stop this from happening in another timeline, I kill myself in order to go back in time and save him. The project was filmed and edited over the course of 8 weeks.

Minecraft In real LifeFor the project we were tasked with creating a short video in the style of our choice, that contained any form of Visual FX. Like in my previous project, I chose subject matter that I was passionate about; Video Game. In this case, I chose to centre my film around Minecraft, a video game i currently play. The story follows a boy who discovers Minecraft has leaked into the real world, and we see how he overcomes to obstacles he faces from it. This project was filmed and edited over the course of 6 weeks.

Moving Image ProjectThis assignment consists of adding sound and music to a video with no sound. I chose a the trailer for the Assassins Creed 2 game. At the time I was playing it at home and was very passionate about it. I apologise when you listen to it, as the sound FX do not stand out as much as I intended them to. The music is very overpowering. But overall I hope you enjoy it.

Group 3D Modelling ProjecT For this project we were put into groups to create a large 3D model in 3ds Max. The theme was Organic Mechanisms. In our project, we made a robotic horse, with each person creating different parts. I made the head of the horse, with the body and legs created by the other team members. (There were issues with combining the parts in 3ds Max, so instead we imported the OBJ files into Blender to create the finished product).

Game DesignIn my Game Design course, we learned the basics of using Maya, with our assignment being to create a hypothetical game trailer. I chose the basis of a school game, like Bully and Life is strange. I had to create many different 3D models to make up the different scenes for the trailer.
Note: Unfortunately there is some clipping on the 3D people models, due to time constraints I was unable to fix these before finalising my assignment. |
Still and Moving ImagesThis course required me to complete many different projects. I learnt many new things in software tools including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom, and also some things about photography. For the first project, we had to create a composite portrait of ourselves, involving many self portraits combined into one creative image. For the second project, we used these composite portraits to make GIF animations in Photoshop. And the final project was something we decided on. I chose to make a stop motion short film.

Stop Motion FilmThis is the final assessment piece from the course Still and Moving Images. For this project, we were given the choice on what to create after leaning many skills in the areas of photography, film making, photo editing, VFX and more. I chose stop motion as my project and made a short film.

JavaScript GameThis project introduced me to coding in javascript for the first time. For our first assignment, we had to create a game that included elements of drawing, interactivity, moving objects, collision detection, scoring, colours and randomness. For the code editor, we used p5.js web editor. It is a very simple game, but it was a good starting point for me to learn the language.
